‘CHECKED OUT’ aims to get men, and women, to focus on the male cancers; get to know the facts and risks, learn how to recognise and check for early signs that something may be wrong and encourages anyone with concerns to get checked out by a GP.
The message is simply …
- Check out male cancer
- Check for signs of male cancer
- Get checked out by a GP if worried
Most cancers are easier to treat if diagnosed early so don’t put off making an appointment.
Incidence of the male cancers is growing yet still too little is known about these diseases which can affect any man; that’s fathers, sons, brothers, uncles and grandfathers.
- Access and download our ‘Male Cancer – ‘CHECKED OUT’ fact sheet
- We have produced a check ribbon badge to complement the campaign and reinforce the key message about male cancer.
The badge design is blue and white check and incorporates the male fertility symbol.
- Support us and help raise awareness about male cancer by organising a ‘checked out’ day in your workplace – see ideas
